Contour Uplight

How do you want to control the lights?

Control one light at a time

Set each light individually using the remote.

Control all lights together

Set all lights at once with a single press of the remote.

How to Setup

STEP 1

Power on the lights

  1. Remove the charging cable from each light

  2. Replace the waterproofing plug on each light

  3. Press the silver ON/OFF button to power each unit on

  4. Remove all units from the transport tub

Static

displays one solid, unchanging colour

Fade

smoothly transitions between colours

Snap

rapidly cycles through colours

Strobe

rapidly blinks on and off - single colour

Sound

changes colour to the beat of your music

STEP 2

Setting a static colour

  1. Select the desired colour on the 'QUICK REMOTE' provided.

  2. Hold the remote 5cm away from your first light and select the desired colour.

  3. Adjust the brightness using the UP and DOWN buttons (there are 255 brightness options which you can monitor on the lights display panel).

  4. Repeat this process for all remaining lights.

STEP 3

Position each light

  1. Position each light in the desired area of your event space.

  2. Positioning the light closer to a wall or column increases the intensity of the light at the base of the surface.
    If too intense, pull the light back 5-10cm from the wall.

STEP 2

Set a 'Primary' light

You’ll use the remote on this light to manage all the others.

  1. Pick one light to be your Primary.

  2. Hold the ADVANCED REMOTE close (about 5cm) to your Primary light and press DMX ON.

  3. You’ll see Wireless DMX [ON] – Group ID: 1 on the display screen.

  4. If the Group ID isn’t 1, press GROUP ID 1 on the remote.

You’ll use the remote on this light to manage all the others.

  1. Pick one light to be your Primary.

STEP 3

Sync the 'Secondary' lights

These lights will copy the 'Primary' light and stay in sync with it.

  1. Hold the Advanced Remote close (about 5cm) to your next light and press DMX ON.

  2. You’ll see Wireless DMX [ON] – Group ID: 1 on the display screen.

  3. If the Group ID isn’t 1, press GROUP ID 1 on the remote.

  4. Select 'DMX Channel' on the remote, you'll see 'Address 001' on the display screen.

  5. If the Address isn't 001, press 'Channel +' or 'Channel -' until it reads 001.

  6. Repeat this process for all 'secondary' lights.

    ⚠️ WARNING: Do not point the remote at any of your secondary lights as doing so will 'unsync' them.
