Questions our customers ask

What’s the difference between a smoke machine and a haze machine?

A smoke machine emits thick, dense fog in bursts, creating dramatic effects and visible beams of light. A haze machine produces a finer, more consistent mist that enhances lighting without being too overwhelming. Both create atmosphere but serve slightly different purposes.

Yes, all of our smoke and haze machines are designed for safe indoor use. However, always check with your venue beforehand, as some locations may have restrictions due to smoke detectors or ventilation systems.

Yes, all smoke and haze machine hires come with a full tank of high-quality fluid included. This is usually enough to last for the entire duration of your event under standard use.

It’s possible. Smoke and haze can trigger some smoke detectors, especially optical ones. Always check with your venue in advance and consider disabling alarms in the specific event area if allowed.

You can, but the effect will be much less noticeable outdoors. Wind and open spaces will disperse the smoke or haze quickly, reducing the visual impact significantly.

Setup is plug-and-play. Each machine comes with simple operating instructions, and most models have cabled or wireless remote control for easy use. No technical experience is needed for basic operation.

Under typical use, the fluid included should last a standard event (around 4–6 hours). If you’re using the machine continuously, you may want to request extra fluid when booking.

Yes, we offer delivery and collection across Sydney and Melbourne. You can also opt for convenient warehouse pickup if you prefer to collect and return the equipment yourself.

Absolutely. Our smoke and haze machines are available as standalone hires or come included in a lot of our Sound and Lights Packages.
