Stanton UberStand Laptop Stand

Since i started playing on turntables with Serato, i've been rocking with one of these in my setup and its the coolest thing, without too much space in my setup at home its ideal, and if you need to take it anywhere, it comes with a pouch you just collapse it down and you're ready to jet!

The best thing about this stand is it's lightweight and portability. Once folded it tucks nicely in your DJ bag behind your laptop compartment and doesn't add too much bulk to your luggage. Be sure to use the carry bag included as it makes it much easier to slide in and out with out it getting caught on stuff. if your new to laptop DJing you may think you have no need for a stand as I did for quite a white, but once you actually use one you'll realise how very useful it can be. it also saves your back as you don't have to bend down to see the screen as it raises your laptop a fair bit on the bench. Once you use one of these stands you'll wonder how you use to do with out it.

I got this stand when I first got Serato, and it does the trick nicely. There are a couple of things that can get frustrating, there are rubber grips on the forks where you place the laptop, and they can grip a little too much at times. I've had the laptop stick to the grips, and then the whole "tray" swings up which is a little worrying as there's nothing to stop the laptop sliding backwards, but there is some velcro included that I stuck onto the bottom of my laptop and the top of the stand, and that seems to do the job well.

Overall, I'd give this stand 7.5 out 10, it does the job well, though it may be a touch overpriced.

This stand is very high duty, sturdy and folds down flat. It's expensive for a laptop stand but well worth the money!
