Chill Pill speakers have taken the US by storm, winning "Best Gizmo" awards in Wired and becoming a firm favourite among travellers, design nerds and techno fiends alike. They've been such a hit here at DJ Warehouse that just about all of our staff have taken one home for themselves! These highly portable, pocket-sized speakers that can be transported in "pill" form, which is ingeniously held together by magnets. When you want to play music, simply pull apart the pill and untwist the tops to release the mini-subwoofers. In addition, all the needed cords (stereo plug, USB input) are built into the speakers with their own coil system so you don't have to worry about bringing/losing cables.
For its size, the Chill Pill offers suprisingly loud and clear sound and is ideal for desktop/laptop speakers, your ipod/iphone or even PSP. The Chill Pill will play for around 6 hours before it needs recharging and also expands to reveal mini-subwoofers for enhanced bass.
And the best thing is that it's powered by a rechargeable battery which can be easily recharge by the retractable USB cable!
