The DT250 is designed with studio applications in mind, but it makes for an excellent home listening headphone. It features a single-sided, coiled, detatchable cable, excellent isolation, excellent durability and a very enjoyable sound. One of the most well rounded sounding headphones around with good quality bass, smooth midrange and slightly pulled back treble (to reduce listening fatigue).
It is available in 250 or 80ohm versions. The 80ohm is easier to drive from unamplified devices whereas the 250ohm requires an amp. The 250ohm version is a special order item.
