The DT231pro is a very comfortable, lightweight, closed format dynamic headphone ideal for portable or unamplified devices. It has an excellent all round sound, balanced and clear with good bass response.
While the DT231pro is considered a closed headphone, it doesn't offer a lot of isolation from outside noise making it suitable for use in environments where you wish to enjoy your music while not disturbing others, yet being able to hear some of what is going on around you.
The DT231pro is identical to the DT231 while the now discontinued DT231Galactic was a different colour. Sonically all 231 models are identical.
