Its real simple, if you want something reliable for performance based djing, chose this. This is the SL1200 for DVS systems, it will work night after night, free updates on software with visual information that you need and nothing else that you don’t. What is lacks in extras that some other products have, it makes up for in its pure simplicity and rock solid performance. I know when I use Scratch Live it will work. I could not recommend this product more.

What impressed me most about serato was not soo much its excellent tools or solid usability, but moreso the ongoing customer support and improvements that serato continues to deliver to its clients. I was skeptical at first about converting but i will never go back to cd's again. This is an amazing tool that lets you sort in ways you could only imagine with traditional vinyl or cd's. A need package well worth the investment.

It's the big debate isn't it? Not much competition in my books.

Alright, perhaps the SL1 doesn't quite live up to Traktor Scratch Pro, but the SL3 is the ultimate digital vinyl system out there. But basically, if you're the kind of person who likes to take their computer apart and reprogram everything, then get Traktor. If you're a DJ, get Serato SL3.

The sound quality is incredible, it's completely intuative and it works right out of the box. Oh and best of all, the software is so good, it won't crash on you. Your laptop might, but Serato will not. Get it!!! You will not be dissapointed.
