Have you guys had a play around with the Pioneer CDJ900 players yet?  If you haven't, you should get down to one of the stores for a spin and you'll be hooked from the start.  While the screen doesn't look as amazing as the CDJ2000s and you miss out on the cue points, these players give you just about everything the CDJ2000s have to offer without the hefty price tag. The 900s also have the very handy slip mode function, which allows you to get seriously creative when used with the reverse, looping, or scratching. I personally like to use the slipmode button to create little edits using the vinyl speed adjust touch/release knob.  Bundle the 900s with the Rekordbox software and you've got an unstoppable media player with instant access to your tracks via USB/hard drive.

Serato Scratch Live Version 2.0 is now available to download for public beta from the Serato website! It doesn't include 'The Bridge' yet but they've thrown in view changes, level meters and an effects rack giving you three channels of effects per deck. You can download the new public beta version here but be warned that it's best practice not to use the beta version out in public as there are still some minor bugs in the system to be ironed out. Alternatively, we've got the Beta version up and running in our Sydney store so just head down to see what the fuss is all about!

Having problems with your software installation or can’t get your soundcard working? DJ Warehouse has a full time dedicated technical support team to give DJ Warehouse customers free advice over the phone on technical or operational issues with their products. If the problem is too advanced to solve over the phone, you can also book in a face to face technical support session for up to 50 minutes for a small fee, which will include basic training on the equipment.
